GRADING PERMIT — CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL

Permit Conditions. The following conditions shall apply in the granting of the attached
land use pe
he smallest amount of bare ground shall be exposed for as short a time as
feasible.
❑ Temporary ground cover, such as mulch or jute netting, shall be used and
perm ent vegetative cover shall be established.

other methods shall be used to preverif erosion.
❑ La ons shall be constructed to avoid fish trap conditions.

❑ Filling shall comply with any local floodplain zoning ordinance and shall not
restrict a floodway or destroy the flood storage capacity of a floodplain.
❑ Channels or artificial watercourses shall be constructed with side slopes of two
(2) units horizontal distances to one (1) unit vertical or flatter which shall be
promptly vegetated, unless bulkheads or rip-rap are provided.
Note: The property owner is ultimately responsible for ensuring that sand, soil, fill,
gravel, topsoil or other materials are not deposited in waterways, water bodies or wetland
areas.
(Section 4.28 Adverse Effects on Adjacent Properties)
[�Construction, grading, excavating or similar activities which result in drainage,
runoff, erosion or the depositing of materials on to adjacent properties shall not be
allowed.
