For the Weirgor Road bridge approach and exit, ineffective flow areas were assumed on the right (south) overbank and designated as flood fringe on the attached regional floodplain map. The ineffective flow areas terminate 280 feet upstream of the upstream bridge face and 410 feet downstream of the downstream bridge face as measured along the stream thread. The Department approves the study as meeting NR 116 technical requirements for use in Sawyer County's floodplaui Zoni��g ordinance. With the exception of the in-effective flow areas upstream and downstream of Weigor Road Bridge, all land elevations below the regional flood profile elevations must be regulated under the floodway provisions of Sawyer County's floodplain zoning ordinance. The 100 year flood profile starts at cross-section # 5,with a 100 year flood elevation of 1236.14 feet NAVD-88 datum. The profile extends upstream to cross-section #20, with a 100 year flood elevation of 1239.40 feet NAVD-88 datum. Tl�e 100 year flow is 3600 cfs. All elevations are referenced to BM Z41 @ 1251.50 feet NAVD-88 datum, or the identified BM's on tl�e approved floodplain inap attachment.
