Dear Deb,
I have reviewed the building pernut application for Merlin and Gloria Winchell to construct a garage and
addition on property located at 9551N Hay Creek Rd. The property is further identified as being in the
NWiia of the SWva of section 6, Town 40N, Range 6W, in the Town of Hunter, Sawyer County
Wisconsin, and has been assigned i.d. # 012-640-06-2209 parcel .6.9,
This property is located within a 100 foot Buffer Zone area as measured from the 1313 msl. contour and
would be subject to the restrictions therein. As such, no structures are allowed within the 100 foot buffer
and there are limitations on vegetation cutting and rock placement. Additional restrictions extend 1,000
feet landward from the 1313 line which require that the exterior color of the building be natural wood and
earth tone color, and less than 35 feet in height.
It appears from the application plan that the proposed construction will be located outside of the 100-ft.
setback line. The Winchell's are allowed to continue with their building project so long as construction
remains in compliance with the Chippewa Flowage covenant restrictions specified in the property deed.
A copy of the deed that addresses the restrictions is attached for reference. Please contact me if you have
