Dear Deb:
I have been reviewing the building pernut applications submitted by William J. Fetzner after coming
through your office to determine applicability of the Chippewa Flowage buffer covenants. Many of these
have been for improvements to the seasonal units located within the campground on his property.
From now on, you may take action on any pemut applications requested for improvements on the Fetzner
property in section 9, Town 40N, Range 6W, Township of Hunter, Sawyer County, Wisconsin without
sending them through my office. His property is not located within any buffer zone azeas and therefore
not subject to the restrictions therein.
With the exception of the Fetzner property, I would still like to have the opportunity to review any pernut
applications for improvements to other lands in the vicinity of the Chippewa Flowage for covenant
restrictions. We feel this process has been working well and appreciate your cooperation in assisting the
Department in maintaining the natural flavor of the Chippewa Flowage.
Of course, all other county and state codes and permits apply to the Fetzner property and must be applied
for and adhered to.
