with the Mitigation Plan and Implementation Schedule approved by the Sawyer County Zoning Department.

�with all shoreland vegetative buffer requirements of the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance in effect on the date

Hello Eric,
Jacquita and I have completed the Land Use Permit that you sent me back in late
summer.
Basically, we want to add a 16' (wide from lake view) by 30' deep addition. The room
would have 10' high walls (the existing cottage has 8' high walls). The room will
replace one of the two existing bedrooms. The bedroom being replaced will be converted
into a family room and larger kitchen. We may need to take out an interior wall for this
to happen.
Of the 16 X 30 addition, the new bedroom will be 16 x 20. The remaining 16 x 10 will
be a utility room on a concrete slab.
Under the 16 x 20 bedroom, we would like to add a basement with 8' high walls. The lot
falls away nicely for this to be a walkout toward the lake.
The roof will fall east /west. The existing roof falls north/ south.
The addition will be added onto the west side of the existing cotYage. We will set back 4'
from the existing NW corner thereby making the entire new addition within the 75'
setback rule. The addition will run east/west, with the new NW corner being more than
90' from the lake. This is a change from what we talked back in the summer, which then
we were talking about running it at a NW angle to stay 75' back.
Our contractor is Don Slattery, the estimate for the job is $20,000.
We installed a new well this summer, using Cliff at Butterfields.
I didn't have time to take pictures before the summer was over, but you know the layout
of the lot and our desire (and attempt) to put in the 35' shore protection growth. We
strongly suppoR this effort and will continue to mark it off and get this completed.
