Permit is desired for the construction of two (2) additional principal buildings to an existing resort (Virgin Timber Resort). There are presently eight (8) principal buildings on the property. The Town Board has denied the application. The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted. Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It is important to maintain the tourism economy, especially resorts which are disappearing. It would not be damaging to the ri�hts of others or property values. It would compatible with surrounding uses and the area. It would not be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands or shorelands. The approval of the conditional use will expire on May 19, 2007, if application for the actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date. Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the Committee.
