Notice is hereby given that on May 19, 2006 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
approved the following application:
Lot l, being Part of the NW'/4 NW'/4, S 24, T 41N, R 6W, Parcel .6.15. Doc
#323448; CSM Vol 11 Page 193. 9.11 acres total. Property is zoned
Residential/Recreational One. Permit is desired for the construction of two (2)
additional principal buildings to an existing resort (Virgin Timber Resort). There
are presently eight (8) principal buildings on the property. The Town Board has
denied the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It is important to maintain the tourism
economy, especially resorts which are disappearing. It would not be damaging to the
ri�hts of others or property values. It would compatible with surrounding uses and the
area. It would not be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands or shorelands.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on May 19, 2007, if application for the
actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the
Committee.

Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, May 19, 2006.
This Hearing will begin at 9:00 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Haywazd, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appeaz may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
caze of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. TMs
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and sunounding development. Photographs of the
property and surrounding area is encouraged land uses. Indicate how the proposed use
would not be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
