Dear Michelle:
I have reviewed the building pennit application submitted by Paul Smyczek to construct a new garage and
dwelling adjacent to and directly north of 9380N Beaver Creek Road in the Town of Hunter, Sawyer County,
Wisconsin. The property is further identified as having Sawyer County Tax ID # 40943.
This property is encumbered by covenants that have been recorded in the Sawyer County Register of Deeds office
in Volume 707 Deeds, Page 154-160 and is subject to the restrictions therein. As such, these covenants provide
that there is no filling, grading, or placeinent of structures allowed within a 100-foot horizontal distance landward
from the shoreline above elevation 1 ,313 MSL.
It is unclear froin the supplied sketch included within the application plan if the proposed structures will be placed
beyond 100' from the shoreline to the east of the parcel, as it does not include the lake and only has the setback
from the east property line identified. The sketch fails to include the body of water beyond the eastern property
line. Structures include: porches/decks/patios, septic components, well, garage, and the residence. The applicant
will be allowed to continue with the specified building project so long as construction, including any.fillin� and
grading, does not occw• within 100'. Additional restrictions extend 1 ,000 feet landward from the 1 ,313 contour
line requiring that the exterior color of the building be natural wood and earth tone color, and less than 35 feet in
height.
All other county and state codes and pennits apply to the subject property and must be applied for and adhered to.
