Narrative: I, a sworn law enforcement officer, agree that I have not added any CJIS data in this report.
ON MARCH 30,2017, I, DEPUTY RYAN SCHICK OF THE SAWYER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT WAS ON SCENE OF A REPORTABLE TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN THE ABOVE LOCATION. DUSTIN LANCOUR, AND MICHAEL DE MAIN WERE THE TWO VEHICLE OWNERS AND OPERATORS INVOLVED. DE
MAIN WAS SLOWING AND COMING TO A STOP AS A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM WAS TURNING NORTH ONTO NAMEKAGON TRAIL. DE MAIN STATED
THIS IS WHEN LANCOUR TRUCK THE REAR END OF HIS VEHICLE. LANCOUR ADVISED ME HE WAS "MESSING" WITH THE HEAT CLIMATE IN HIS
VEHICLE. LANCOUR ADVISED HE LOOKED UP AND WITNESSED A TRUCK ALMOST STOPPED IN FRONT OF HIM. LANCOUR ADVISED IT WAS TOO LATE
FOR HIM TO STOP AND REAR-ENDED THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. I ADVISED LANCOUR HE WILL BE GETTING A CITATION IN THE MAIL FOR INATTENTIVE
DRIVING. DE MAIN WAS REVOKED BUT HAD AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE AND WAS WITHIN HIS DRIVING HOURS. AFTER THE INVESTIGATION WAS DONE AND THE VEHICLES WERE REMOVED I CLEARED FROM THE CALL.
