Narrative: I, a sworn law enforcement officer, agree that I have not added any CJIS data in this report.
ON 10/31/17 AT APPX 0557 HRS, I, SGT. JEFF JOHNSON WAS DISPATCHED TO A 1 VEHICLE ROLLOVER CRASH ON CTH B AT ROUND LAKE SCHOOL RD IN HAYWARD TWSP. UPON ARRIVAL, I SPOKE WITH THE DRIVER, WHO STATED SHE WAS TRAVELING VERY SLOWLY DUE TO THE WEATHER AND
ROAD CONDITIONS. SHE STATED THAT A GUST OF WIND BLEW THE BACK END OF HER VEHICLE ENOUGH WHILE SHE WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND
ON CTH B THAT SHE BEGAN TO SKID COUNTERCLOCKWISE. SHE STATED THAT SHE SPUN NEARLY 360 BY THE TIME SHE ENTERED THE DITCH IN
THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE CTH B/RLS RD INTERSECTION, AND AS SOON AS THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEELS OF HER VEHICLE LEFT THE
SHOULDER, HER VEHICLE ROLLED OVER ONCE AND LANDED ON IT'S WHEELS. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE ROADWAYS WERE GLARE ICE,
COVERED IN POWDERY SNOW AND THERE WERE VERY STRONG GUSTS OF WIND. DUE TO THE WEATHER AND ROAD CONDITIONS, I DID NOT ISSUE ANY CITATIONS TO THE DRIVER, AS I DO NOT BELIEVE SHE DID ANYTHING WRONG.
