Description
I, a sworn law enforcement officer, agree that I have not added any CJIS data in this report.
R/O WAS DISPATCHED TO STH 77 WEST OF FR 174 FOR A ONE VEHICLE CRASH. R/O WAS ADVISED THE CALLER STATED THE OPERATOR WAS INTOXICATED
AND WAS NOW WALKING EAST IN THE MIDDLE OF STH 77. AS A PRECAUTION, FIRE/EMS WAS DISPATCHED HOWEVER NO SUBJECTS WERE LOCATED IN OR
AROUND THE VEHICLE. LAW ENFORCEMENT DID NOT LOCATE THE MALE OPERATOR. SAWYER DISPATCH HAD CONTACT WITH THE REGISTERED OWNER
WHO STATED SHE WAS DRIVING BUT WAS NO LONGER IN THE AREA. UPON R/O MAKING PHONE CONTACT WITH THE FEMALE OWNER, SHE ADVISED IT
WASN'T A CRASH AND THAT SHE HAD HIT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THEN LOST CONTROL. R/O EXPLAINED IT WAS A CRASH AND ASKED IF SHE WANTED AN
OBSTRUCTION CHARGE AS R/O HAD SPOKEN WITH THE CALLER WHO STATED HE WITNESSED A LONE MALE EXIT THE DRIVER'S SEAT, ASK FOR A PULL OUT,
THEN LEFT ON FOOT WALKING APPEARING TO BE INTOXICATED. THE OWNER BEGAN SWEARING AT R/O. R/O ASKED IF SHE WOULD PREFER CITATIONS IF
SHE WAS THE DRIVER AS SHE CLAIMED. THE OWNER STATED, "I GUESS SO, FUCKING COPS ALWAYS HAVE TO FUCK WITH ME". WHEN EXPLAINED THAT HER
VEHICLE WAS TOWED, THE OWNER SWORE MORE AND THE CALL WAS ENDED. A REPORT FOR OBSTRUCTION IS BEING FORWARDED TO THE DA'S OFFICE
FOR THE OWNER.
