Description
I, a sworn law enforcement officer, agree that I have not added any CJIS data in this report.
DEPUTY LOGAN WAS DISPATCHED TO HWY KK FOR A VEHICLE THAT STRUCK A POWER POLE AND THE POWER LINES WERE IN THE ROADWAY.
UPON ARRIVAL DEPUTY LOGAN FOUND THE POWER LINES HANGING ABOUT 4 FEET OF THE ROAD AND THE POLE COMPLETELY BROKEN OFF. THE
DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE DROVE HOME JUST DOWN THE ROAD AND CALLED. BOTH HWY KK AND REHORE RD WERE CLOSED FOR JUST OVER AN
HOUR WHILE THE POWER LINES WERE REMOVED FROM THE ROAD. THE DRIVER OF UNIT ONE SAID THAT HE WAS GOING HOME AND THE
PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL WENT OFF THE ROAD AND HE WAS UNABLE TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD. THE DRIVER STATED HE STRUCK THE POWER
POLE WITH THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. DEPUTY LOGAN SAW EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT, PASSENGER SIDE, AND ROOF OF THE
VEHICLE.
