MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
RE: Meander Line Pipe Elevations CSM #3613 vs. Regional Flood Elevations (RFE) of
the Chippewa River- Lot 4, Owner- Mark Malchow, LUP #00-567
Today I called Mark Krause, Wagner Surveying Associates, Inc., to determine the
relationship between the meander line pipe elevations on CSM#3613 and the RFE
established for this portion of the Chippewa River. Mr. Krause informed me that both sets
of elevations are based on the same datum; however, the meander line pipe elevations are
approximate only - essentially within 1/2 feet of the actual elevation. Therefore, the
meander line pipe elevations can be used. However, Mark recommended that if the
building site is within a couple of feet of the RFE/meander line elevation that the actual
building site elevation be determined.

This parcel contains 1,162,200 square feet (26.68 acres) more or less and includes
those lands lying between the meander line and the shore of the Chippewa River as
shown on the map and is subject to easements and restrictions of record.
THAT such map is a correct representation of all of the exterior boundaries of the land
surveyed and the division thereof;
THAT I have fully complied with the provisions of Chapter 236.34 of the Wisconsin
Statutes in surveying, dividing and mapping the same.
SURVEYOR'S NOTES
1. The elevations shown on the meander pipes are near U.S.G.S. elevations. The
elevations are noted for reference only.
2. An existing high voltage powerline is 2-3 feet westerly of the easterly lot line
of this map.
3. Knapp Road a town road extends into the SE; of the SW; and the SWQ of the SE;�
of Section 13, T39N R6w. An existing access road and easement continues North
to near the SE Corner of Govt. Lot 2 and provides access to adjacent lands to
the North and East. An existing access and easement also exists westerly near the
southerly line of Govt. Lot 2 to access Govt. Lot 1.
The 33 and 66 foot easements cover the existing easement: plus providing additional
area to improve the existing access roads.
