RE: "Order for Correction" Twin View Condo Unit #1, failing drywell in
groundwater.
Dear Mr. Berggren:
Enclosed please find my inspection report on your sewer system. You have a failing
sewer system that must be replaced.
Your sewer system (drywell) fails because:
1) does not meet Wisconsin private sewage code
2) is located 4' from your sidewall (must be 15')
3) Is sitting in ground water at the level of the lowland in the back. Code requires
at least 3 feet of unsaturated soils to purify sewage before re-entering the ground
water.
You are hear-by ordered to replace your failing sewer system on or before 15, July
2000. Please contact a plumber (list enclosed) and have a new system installed by the
deadline.
Your co-operation would be appreciated. Should you have any questions, please write
or call at the above address and phone number.

RE: Existing sewer inspection of old drywells
Dear Mr.Rutka:
I am sure that you have heard that our office,DNR and the Round Lake Township
Chairman have received calls of violations on the old Kateri ResorUTwin View Condo
properties.
The complainant daimed there are zoning and sewer violations on the various properties.
Sue Miller,DNR Warden,and I have conducted a thorough inspection of the three
properties to the East of the Condo's(Skovra�,Thelan,Gedart). We have indeed
discovered,building setback violations,household washwater lines draining into the
wetlands and old sewer systems sitting in ground water. I have addressed the violations
on these three properties.
This letter is to notify you that I will continue to inspect the condo properties in the next
2-4 weeks.
I would like your cooperatioa If there are violations involving zoning or sanitation,I will
address accordingly. I will address any failing sewer systems that may affect ones health,
safety,welfare and any groundwater pollution.
