Notice is hereby given that on June 16, 2006 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
approved with conditions the following application:
Lots 4&5, being Part of the SW'/4 NW'/4, S 30, T 39N, R 9W, Parcels .7.8 and
.7.9. Vol 704 Records Page 16, Vol 827 Page 660; CSM Vol 5 Page 343. 11.91
acres total. Property is zoned Residential/Recreational One. Permit is desired for
the location/operation of a paintball course and the operation of a related store
within an existing building. The Town Board has approved the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application for this owner only with
the following conditions: no activity within 200 ft of the cemetery; no parking on Hwy.
BB; hours lOAM to 8PM.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values. It would not be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands or
sharelands. It would create recreational activity in the area.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on June 16, 2007, if application for the
actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date. Your application for the approved
use is enclosed and the fee for this new business use is $50.00. You will need a privy
permit for satellite toilets that will be in place for longer than 3 days.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the
Committee.

Dear Mr. Carlton:
Your application for a Conditional Use will be considered at a Public Hearing before the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, June 16, 2006.
This Hearing will begin at 9:00 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decisioa Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general te�rain and surcounding development. Photographs of the
property and surrounding area is encouraged land uses. Indicate how the proposed use
would not be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planoing Commission. Please contact the Town Cierk, Elaine
Nyberg; 715/865-2486 to obtain the time and confirm the date of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.
