The Sawyer County Zoning Committee,having held a public hearing pursuant to Section
59.69(5)(e), Wisconsin Statutes,notice thereof having been given as provided by law
and being duly informed of the facts pertinent to the proposed changes, hereby
recommends that the petitions described as follows be approved:
TOWN OF SAND LAKE
1) Bruce Wick et ux. Part of Godt lot 3, S9, T 39N, R 9W; Pazcel :3.17. Doc#
377654. Approximately 6.67 acres to be rezoned out of the total 9.09 acres.
Approximately 2.42 acres is already zoned Residential/Recreational One.
Change from District Agricultural One to District Residential/Recreational One.
Purpose of request is to conform to the present residential use. No agricultural
activities are being conducted on the property.The Town Boazd has approved the
application with additional comments.
Motion by Zietlow, second by Bassett to approve the rezone request. Motion
carried.
Findings of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property
values.

Re: Notice of Public Hearing Date
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Wick;
Your application for a Change in Zone District will be considered at a Public Hearing
before the Sawyer County Zoning Committee on: Friday, August 17, 2012.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present, please submit a written statement in care
of this office directed to James Bassett, Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and/or buildings would be beneficial. Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon
the owner by conforming to the present zone district and the compatibility of the proposed
use with the surrounding land uses. Convenience and financial loss or gain does not
constitute zoning hardship.
Your application will come 6efore the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Town Clerk, Elaine
Nyberg; 715/865-2006 to confirm the date and obtain the time of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.
