The average lake setback was determined at 57.5'from the ordinary high-water mark of the lake.Construction activities closer than this distance to the lake would require the prior approval of a variance by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. However,the proposed dwelling screen porch addition will be no closer than 60'to the lake. This addition could be constructed with the issue of a Land Use Permit by this office. The other matter pertains to the construction of a 30'x 40'pole building on the opposite side of the private road that leads to your property. I did verify that this roadway is not a Town of Hunter road. The pole building may also be constructed with the issue of a Land Use Permit from this office. The minimum setback requirements for the pole building are: • 30'to the centerline of the private road, • 5'to any side Iot]ine and • 40'to the rear lot line.
